440C Stainless Steel Pipe Description
The high carbon content of 440C stainless steel pipe allows it to have good cutting and wear resistance. It also has excellent corrosion resistance to a variety of chemical corrosive media. 440C has excellent hardness due to its high carbon content. Through heat treatment and quenching, hardness of HRC 58-60 can be achieved, giving it excellent cutting ability and wear resistance. In addition, 440C has a high chromium content and excellent corrosion resistance in most acidic and alkaline environments. So 440C stainless steel material is especially preferred in high-end manufacturing fields such as aerospace, mechanical manufacturing, electronic equipment and medical devices.
